Installation

From Chrome Web Store

Coming Soon — The extension is pending Chrome Web Store review.

Manual Installation (Developer Mode)

1. Obtain the extension folder from an authorized Vartovii operator. The prototype source is not part of the public product repository.

2. Open Chrome and navigate to:

   chrome://extensions

3. Enable Developer mode (toggle in top-right corner)

4. Click Load unpacked

5. Select the chrome-extension folder

6. The Vartovii icon should appear in your toolbar

Usage

Popup Search

1. Click the Vartovii icon in your toolbar
2. Type a company or crypto project name
3. View Trust Score and risk level
4. Click "View Full Analysis" to open the dashboard

Automatic Badges

When you visit a supported site (e.g., Glassdoor company page):

• A Trust Score badge automatically appears near the company name
• Color-coded: Green (Low Risk), Yellow (Medium), Red (High/Critical)

Privacy

The extension:

• ✅ Only sends search queries to vartovii.com
• ✅ Does not collect browsing history
• ✅ Does not require login
• ✅ Open source (see GitHub)

Troubleshooting

Badge not appearing?

• Refresh the page
• Check if the site is in the supported list
• Ensure the company/project exists in our database

Rate limit exceeded?

• Free tier allows 10 requests/day
• Wait 24 hours or upgrade to Pro (coming soon)
